Saturday's Child

Hi! I'm Saturday's Child, but you can call me Sara. And, yes, I was indeed born on a Saturday. It would be kinda silly to call my social networky thingadoo Saturday's Child if, say, I'd been born on a Wednesday.

And nobody wants that. Silliness, I mean. Wednesdays, of course, are perfectly fine for having kids.

Just not me. I'm a Saturday, through and through. And, well, okay, if we're being really honest, I do have an issue with the way Wednesday is spelled. And February. How stupid are those? Seriously? Can you imagine being born on a Wednesday in February? L-A-M-E. I'll take my nice Saturday in April, kthx.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona, with my husband (P) and our daughter (K). The three of us are California natives -- fruity and nutty and loads of fun! Obviously, I'm the loads of fun one; P and K take turns representing the fruit and nut contingents. Anyway, in 2007, we sold our house outside San Francisco and came to the Valley of the Sun for better jobs (read: any jobs) and way cheaper real estate. My sister (C), brother-in-law (J), and their son (A) live down the street from us.

You want to hear something really freaky? Not only do we all have different first initials... The six of us were all born on different days of the week! And guess which day none of us got strapped with? Wednesday! ZZZZOMG! It's a conspiracy!

I blame our parents.
